Zen is a meditation technique for collection of mind. It is probably the oldest, Far Eastern wisdom; the teaching of the wisdom of being by nothingness. Zen is the expression of an inner experience through which a particular consciousness is formed. A fundamental part of Zen is the Za-Zen. Here you can sit in an upright posture in silence and in meditation. The aim of Zen is the complete harmony with itself and the complete solution from the here and now. Through the technique of sitting the way the teaching is to be paved.
