Udvartana

Udvartana is the name of an ayurvedic full body scrubs. It is carried out with a mixture of ground barley, warm sesame oil and herbs. The peeling should activate the body, but still be gentle for the patient. After peeling a synchronized massage is carried out by one or two therapists. Udvartana stimulates the metabolism of the skin and connective tissue.
