Tyrolean shale oil

Tyrolean shale oil is extracted from about 180 million years old oil shale. This resulted from fossil deposits of primordial sea Thetis and was pushed through the formation of the Alps upwards. The active ingredients which are in this oil shale come from the fossils of marine animals and plants. Especially often the Tyrolean shale oil is used as oil pack or bath additive. It should be particularly helpful in the treatment of skin and joint diseases.
