Tepidarium

The tepidarium is a room which is part of the Roman bath. Here are heated stone beds, the room temperature is about 39° C, the indoor climate is dry. Thus, the patient is placed in the state of a fever. This strengthens the immune system without the circulation burdening. The tepidarium is thus a kind ‘regeneration area’ because it has a preventive and healing effect on the patient. It should be at least 30 minutes stay in the tepidarium to enjoy its positive effects, but also can feel free to stay longer because the maximum length of stay is unlimited due to the mild temperature.
