Pilates is the name of a specific form of training, which should make for a better body image. There are about 500 different exercises that can be performed with or without the aid of equipment. The exercises can be selected so that the muscles, joints and connective tissue can be trained, but also to shape the figure according to their own ideas. Most movements are, however, on the abdominal and back muscles and the pelvis centered. Poor posture and movements should be made aware of and replaced by better and healthier.
