Massage (medical)

The long-known treatment option of massage became popular in Europe in the 20th century by the Dutch physician G. Mezger and the Russian physician Dr. Zabludowski. This classic form of massage there are many different techniques that pressure or train to the patient’s tissue exercise, eg stroking, rubbing, kneading or vibrate, but also chopping, kneading, clapping or tapping . A massage should always be performed by a trained therapist, since this is a stimulus and regulation therapy. The massage helps to stimulate the blood and lymph flow, to purify and detoxify. The most common effect is, however, the release of tension and muscular cramps.
