Laconium

The Laconium is a sweat bath, which was named after a people from southern Greece, the Lakoniern (Spartans). Today, it is modeled after the Roman baths. The Laconium is heated by the tiled floor up to about 60° C. The temperature in Laconium is slowly increased. So the stay there is very cycle friendly and can therefore take up to an hour. Thus, the duration of sweating is also relatively long for a sauna. In Laconium the body is purified and detoxified.
