Iridology

The Iridology has to recognize the objective eye disease by accurately observing the eye and the iris. This method was developed in 1880 by Ignaz von Peczely. It depends on the theory that all body parts and organs have a connection to the iris. Therefore, diseases are caused by unusual phenomena (eg rings) on the iris visible. To study the iris is viewed with a magnifying glass and then photographed. The iris of the left eye corresponds to the left half of the body, the right of the right. The iris is divided into ‘pieces of cake’ and each piece corresponds to an organ or body part.
