Inhalation

Inhalation refers to a therapy in which the airways of the patient are to be cleaned and moistened by steam and mist. Originally this technique was applied only in diseases of the lungs. The water whose steam, the patient should breathe is often enriched with aromas that will enhance the beneficial effects. Usually the water is placed in a tray, over which a cloth is laid. The patient lies at the beginning of therapy his head over the bowl and the towel over his head, so as not to escape the fumes and let the water cool down too early.
