Kneipp Footbath

A Kneipp footbath is a water basin, which is filled with either hot or cold water to about the height of the calf. During the Kneipp (ie several of these basins) you go through a Kneipp Rondell. The pools are divided into zones consisting of hot and cold temperatures. You will go through in the Storch step, ie the feet are lifted completely out of the water after each step. By contrast baths particularly the blood circulation and metabolism are stimulated.
